Peanut Butter Chocolate Nice Cream
In the summertime All year long, I love to throw frozen banana chunks into my little bullet blender with some cocoa or other random ingredients and make “nice cream.”
Have you heard of nice cream?
You only need one ingredient: frozen bananas. But a little vanilla, cocoa, peanut butter, walnuts, coconut, pineapple, strawberries, or chocolate chips never hurt. Serving it over these amazing naturally-sweetened brownies for a super delish brownie sundae never hurt, either. Nice cream can be a very quick and easy afternoon treat, or a decadent after-dinner dessert.
This is one of my favorite combinations.

Keep a zip-lock bag of frozen banana chunks in your freezer at all times so they're ready to make into nice cream when the mood strikes!
- 3 bananas frozen
- 3 tbsp peanut butter
- 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1-2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
-
In a food processor, blender, or bullet, combine all ingredients. Blend until very smooth. You may need to add a splash of plant milk (coconut milk is good!) to help it blend.
Eat immediately for a soft-serve type ice cream, or put into freezer if you prefer harder ice cream that you can scoop.
