Almond Baked Oatmeal
This simple baked oatmeal is not only delicious, but it's ideal for times when you don't have a ripe banana or other fruits that most baked oatmeal recipes call for. It's just pantry ingredients, and it's a hit with kids and adults alike.

my kids love eating this with soy milk and berries on top
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare the pan by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it.
In a large bowl, stir together the dry ingredients. Add the wet. Stir well.
Pour into the pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle with slivered almonds.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, until firm to the touch. Let cool at least 10 minutes to set up more.
Serve as bars or in a bowl with milk or yogurt on top. You can add berries, other chopped fruit, or more maple syrup, too.
